We have been in CS for a while now and having fun being extremely busy... the weather has been yucky for days now, but at least it feels like fall (or winter, really). Emma and I went to stay with Daniel's parents for a few days and I got a pedi/mani and a babysitter... so nice!! We cooked and baked and shopped!

Emma got early Christmas presents!!




We have been going out a lot here so that has been fun..tiring but it is great to have adult conversations in an adult atmosphere! Marigene came for Thanksgiving and the weekend and then drove Daniel back today! He will be in Florida for a work conference all week (poor guy) so Emma and I are sticking around here until Friday, then meeting him home for a restful weekend!!

Those happy couples aren't really couples, just friends... it is funny that in all the pics I took, there are none of the actually married couples.. just random friends! Why is that??! And knowing how much of a picture craze I am, the entire week, I never got a picture of Daniel, Emma and I! Sorry Daniel.. you know this means we will be taking post-Thanksgiving family pics when we get home!! :)

We all 3 went to the Reed Pig Roast and saw a lot of friends and parents.. Emma showed off being sweet and it was nice to be able to take her with us!!

We always say that Thanksgiving in CS is like our highschool reunion..so true.. we don't really need to have our 10 year reunion... it happens every year during the holidays!!!

This zebra is what Emma wants for Christmas!!

We went to visit our friends Amy and Avery this past week.. it was a quick visit, but fun to watch the girls play and interact! Avery is almost 14 months and Emma is 8 months here..

We are now in Texas and having fun seeing everyone, going on walks with the twins and eating lunch with the grandparents and family! So excited about Thanksgiving!! YUM!! and we get to see a lot of old friends!! Gig 'em Ags!!

Today is my little brother, Jeffrey or Toodge's, 22nd birthday!! Happy Birthday, we love you and can't wait to hang out with you more over your break!! By the way, your present is in the mail!! Here are a few pics of him and our family!!

8 months old and rocking

Emma is 8 months old today (Saturday, the 10th)!!

She is such a little person, not even like a baby anymore :(
She crawls around following me from room to room

She cruises on anything she can find, including Gauge (loves it) and Dixie (much to her dismay)
She is saying all kinds of craziness that we can't understand..we think we hear Da-da, do (dog) and that's about it...
She is our angel and we are so happy she is here, healthy and helping us to remember to be thankful and take notice of the little things in life!!

Emma had a great Halloween being it was her first and she couldn't even walk to trick or treat.. She was a butterfly and it was so cute! She kept falling over because of her big wings that made it awkward for her to crawl! We had a great time visiting with the Wendlers, Lauren & Blake, and then going to a hay ride with other friends..
