Emma loves to walk around and eat things.. She is really teething her 2 front teeth, so everything goes in the mouth.. when I put my hand in her mouth to retrieve whatever she bites me! OUCH!!

Happy Valentines Day!

Emma's 1st Valentines Day was great.. Daniel brought us P.F. Changs for dinner and he made 2 new dinner trays with family photos on the top.. They were so neat and really thoughtful! I don't know when he had the time! The weather here has been crazy, cold, hot, rainy, icy, muggy.. I am sick of it and ready for Spring.



Emma has been walking everywhere and rarely crawls anymore. She must be getting ready to show off at her 1st birthday party! We will be in CS for her party the weekend of March 8th!! Hoping for a crawfish boil if the weather permits!!

Emma loves to slide by herself..I put her up there and she scoots her body until she takes off and she just smiles and kicks her feet, then tries to walk up the slide to do it again!! So funny

We have been busy planting fruit bushes, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries and trying to clean up from the hunting season.. Daniel is quick to remind me that turkey season is about to start!

The Dictator

That is what Daniel calls Emma.. when she walks around she shakes her little finger at you and yells with this serious look on her face, sometimes a "no". She seems to be telling you exactly what you should be doing!! We will get a video of it soon!!
She doesn't seem to have an inside voice. When she talks she yells.. loud and proud.. doesn't seem to matter where you are or what she is trying to say! Great!!

Also, Emma is waving bye-bye a lot, all of a sudden.. she did it earlier on, but has really taken to waving at anyone and everyone, and she does it on cue! She also celebrates by screaming "Yea" and flapping her arms, then she grabs her tummy! Too funny! She has quite the personality!

We really enjoyed our time in Texas and were very busy.. Emma even has a nasty runny nose to prove it! We got to see 2 brand new babies, Ashton and Kane, and hold them and play with them.. Emma displayed some early jealousy while I held them.. It was funny, kindof... I am sad to say I didn't take many pictures while I was in town.. but I did get some of Emma and her friends!!

She is a regular at walking now.. she seems to prefer it to crawling for the most part, unless she is trying to beat me somewhere. It is so cute to see the pride on her face when she makes it to a toy, the other room, or me or Daniel. She is getting her top middle teeth, which will make 6 total!
