Sisters!!

Emma is going to have a little SISTER!! We are so excited to be blessed with another sweet angel. Emma is so sweet, loving, daring and adventurous! She is getting sassy and loves other people and animals.. I love that she is outgoing and her own little person already! I can't wait to see what is in store for #2. She has big shoes to fill!! Everything looks good so far in development and is on track for Sept. 21st delivery! We got a great video of the ultrasound and will try and post soon! Baby girl is moving lots and I can't wait to really be able to feel her and to be able to see her move! I am also so ready to look more pregnant.. I know people are just staring at me thinking I need to hit the gym or cut back on dessert! Bring on the baby belly :)

We are already having so much fun in CS and have spent most of our time outside enjoying the cooler air! We have a lot going on in the next couple of weeks and expect to stay busy but excited with it all! First up, March of Babys Walk this Saturday and cousin Tim's wedding shower, then Carrie's wedding shower, then Autumn's baby shower!! Whew.. busy! I hope we get to see everyone while we are here!!

Now we just need some girl names.. anyone have any suggestions that you just love AND are willing to share?!?

Beach bums :)

We went to the beach this weekend to visit my aunt and get some rays!! She lives in Gulfport, about 2 hours from us, so not far at all to get to see the ocean!

Emma absolutely loved it! She was fearless and jumped right in.. The water, waves, salt and sand did not scare her a bit! I was happy to see she was at home on the beach! That means many more vacations in our future to my favorite place!! She did fall with her bucket and get a pretty good busted lip.. it bled for a while, but she got over it pretty fast.. you can see it in some of the pics.. She also loved chasing down all the dogs that were there! Daniel was calling them all by name before we left and got to know the owners pretty well too! Too cute! She loves her animals!

We also went to a really neat Children's Discovery Center.. Emma really got into it and had fun playing make believe with the food and stuff.. She loved the rocking airplane and the sand box!

A cheap lesson..

It was 10:30 at night, I was about to change to my pajamas and was drying my hands off from the bathroom... then I felt it.. or I guess the lack of it...

my Aggie ring was gone!

I quickly checked and thankfully my wedding ring was there..

I panic and then comes that horrible feeling you get in the pit of your stomach

I tell Daniel I can't find it and turn on the light and start to search the floor.. in the bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, shower, car.. wherever I had been in the last few hours..

It was Easter weekend and Daniel's mom was in town.. she starts to help me retrace my steps..
unfortunately it was dark outside and we had done a lot that day.. the weather was beautful! She had even babysat while we drove an hour to Hattiesburg to have a nice, quiet dinner alone!!
I then remember regrettably having washed my hands in the bathroom at the restaurant.. I called the restaurant; they were already closed.

So I went to bed frustrated and trying to think or to not think.. trying to get some sleep! The next day was Sunday and a big one for Emma! I needed rest!

Woke up still frustrated.. called the restaurant, no ring.
We had gone to the town's Easter egg hunt the day before.. it was a huge to do and tons of people were there! That was the other main place we had been..but it was early in the morning and I just knew I would have noticed it earlier if I had lost if earlier..

My rings had been really loose lately, not sure why, but they just slip on and off easily.. but I had become careless because nothing had happened to date!!

Weeks went by and I did nothing, nothing to do or so I thought..
My parents came to visit and I finally told them. My mom said I should go to the place where the egg hunt was and look, but I told her it was a indoor closed facility..
Well, she and my dad went to City Hall to ask around, without me knowing.. they came home a while later..

They had found my ring!!!!!!!!!!!! A man had cleaned up the area and actually found it! He had given it to one of the ladies there and she had it!!!

Or.. she had it at one time.. now she couldn't find it!! WHAT?!?

Talk about bringing my hopes up and then dashing them!
So she claims to have put it on her finger then she did the dishes and can't find it?? I later called to identify the ring and tell them I would give a reward of $50 if it is found Again!!! She told me not to worry about a reward..

So more weeks go by and I hear nothing.. I decided to go to City Hall to remind them of how bad I want my ring back and then I was going to the pawn shop to check there..

Before I got in my car to leave.. the phone rings! It was the lady who lost my ring.. she had found it.. Finally!! I tell her how greatful I am and that I will be right there to pick it up.. I say I will stillpay the reward and she says "OK!"

Ok, so I give her $50. She takes it with a smile.. kindof made me mad, but I guess it was a cheap lesson and could have been worse! Now I just got to think of a way to keep it on my finger!!

Enough.. here are some recent pics..
We are off to the beach this weekend.. I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Texas Time-Travelin'

We have been in CS for a while now.. and we have seen a lot of friends and ate lots of food! :)
I first had my Dr. appointment and it went well.. I had to wait an hour to see him, so I guess he felt bad and decided to do an ultrasound!! I was pumped!! I wasn't expecting an ultrasound until next month, so I had new found hope of finding out if we are having a girl or boy!! Well, the little thing would not cooperate and kept its legs closed!! I was so annoyed after all that time.. we did get to see him/her suck the thumb.. and the due date is the same.. Sept. 21st!! We go on April 30th for the big ultrasound so we pray for cooperation then!!
We went to the Bounce (a big indoor area with jump houses and slides). Emma hated the jump things..but she really liked walking around and seeing all the kids and playing. After that we went to Ninfas to eat with our friends.. there were 6 moms, 2 newborns, 3 babies, & 5 young kids! Luckily, 3 of the older kids were at school! It was kindof wild, but fun!

That afternoon we went to see Uncle Stephen get his Aggie ring.. Emma loved seeing all the people and there was music and dancers that she was really into.. she loves to dance!! Whoop and Gig 'Em!!

Today we went to take pictures in the bluebonnets.. there were so many people in this one spot we went to.. it was crazy!! Emma wasn't feeling great but she did pretty well and never cried! We even saw some friends there too!!

This week we are going to hang around here, and our big trip is to the zoo on Wed. in Houston then hopefully dinner with family, then we are heading back to Miss. to go to the Alabama Spring Football game!! ROLL TIDE!
Here are some pics from a visit from our family friends, the Thompsons, who came all the way from Tyler to visit us! Also, some pics in front of our house by the azalea blooms!! We are anxiously awaiting our blueberries and figs to bloom!! YUMMY!!
