Leftovers of 2012

Still trying to wrap up 2012. I thought those Disney posts were gonna do me in! I know not getting them done right away was a mistake but the time got away from me. This post is going to be all those leftover photos and memories of last year..the ones I forgot or were random parts of our days.
Apparently I never posted anything about San Antonio when we were there. We got to stay with the McLeans and see the Sullivans, Akisons & Morgans. The weather wasn't great but we still managed to get wild and have lots of fun..And the kids got umbrellas from Mama & Pop..they love them and thankfully haven't poked anyone's eye out yet!
Georgia and Anna having a little picnic! Of course it was too cold to do it outside!
Dance party! The kids loved playing this game and got really into dancing and acting silly with eachother!
Breakfast at the McLeans in SA! 6 soon to be 7 kids between us 2! Never a dull moment!
A stop at Old Navy where Hayes found a new friend! He really loved this girl!
Hayes got a Big Wheel from Grandma Jules and Granddad for Christmas. He loves it and so do the girls. He also has gotten really good at pedaling now!
Dixie turned 13 on January 5, so me and the kids picked out a new bed and a new collar along with some treats!
Little Roller girl..loves her skates..scary for the parents! Thanks, Nat and Toodge..guess what Preston is getting for his 3rd bday!!! ;)

This was on a ride home and Dixie decided to get comfy with her butt on Hayes' seat. He was less than thrilled and gave her the stink eye for quite a while!
The Love!
Hayes is a WILD man! This is one of his favorite places to sneak to and get water and get it everywhere possible. He is really trying our patience lately. And he also loves to play with the tvs and dvds.
Just having fun in the parking lot waiting for school to start and today was G's day for pajamas at school!
Hayes wearing Uncle Toodge's favorite Superman shirt..I think a lot of my memories of Jeffrey include this top and it used to have a cape with it. Hayes has a cape but refuses to wear it!
Pajama day for HB at school and G looking sassy as usual!
Emmaline practicing her ballet in my 1st (and probably last) recital outfit.
Hayes is really into my tummy lately and loves to push on my belly button. He says, "the baby is taking a bath!" and he wants a "baby sister". He will kiss it and listen to the 'water' and wave "hi baby" too!
We attended a few bday parties over the holidays. Pinatas are a usual thing we see. The kids are still getting used to them and don't always participate.
Emmaline wrote this in her journal at school, where her teacher gives her the prompt. They also entered these into an art contest. She is a finalist!
And of course we have boxes to play in! Less now that our kitchen is functioning and missing only a backsplash and moulding! YEA!!
An afternoon at the library for some Christmas crafting!

Christmas 2012

We spent Christmas in CS this year with my family. After the girls waking up extremely early, we all finally made it downstairs to see what Santa brought! The girls were so excited and loved seeing all their Brave gear. Hayes was still sleepy and didn't really get the whole thing. He was cute and happy when he saw his tent and tools, but didn't get that Santa had come. We let the kids go through their stuff from Santa and their stockings, open a few gifts and then we stopped for breakfast. My brothers weren't coming over until our late Christmas lunch, so it was just us for a while. Emmaline loved her Brave shoes, dress and bow & arrow and was really good at aiming and shooting it. She ran around the house doing that for hours and days. Georgia wasn't as enamored with her Brave stuff...the dress, yes, but the shoes didn't fit and the bow was too hard for her to do by herself. Luckily, there is always plenty of toys so she was busy doing other things. There were no naps that day and before we knew it it was time for our family dinner. Brett Tyler and the rest of the crew came over, we ate a delicious dinner of a variety of things and then did gifts. The kids got really cute outfits, some dress up items and Hayes got a fun Benny the Bull riding/bouncing toy!

After all the presents were opened, desserts were tried and most of the family had gone, Jimmy and Patricia came over to hang out. Patricia had fun playing with the kids, Jimmy, Daniel & Jeff drank some beer and me and Natalie pretended to drink champagne! We decided to play one of the new games my mom got as a gift. It was pretty cool and fun and not too hard. What a fun way to end a special day. We eventually got the kids to bed and tried to get the presents organized.
The next day we went to lunch with friends again...Chicken Oil..it was so cold..no snow like Dallas got, but yucky outside and there was no heater in the restaurant. Brrr. That afternoon me and the girls went to Hayley's house/farm to play. Autumn was there too and we got to feed the horses and check on a baby pig. There is always so many fun things to do there. I am really happy we got to spend a few hours with them and I love getting to catch up with Hayley and Autumn. Friends are the best!So our Christmas break was a success! We left for home on Thursday so we could do some work on the house. Emmaline ended up staying with my parents for the next few days. It was kindof funny because at least 2 times while we were shy of 1 kid & eating out, we got compliments on the kids' behavior. The waitresses would say, 'Your kids are the most well-behaved kids I've seen!' ..Daniel and I would laugh and say, well we're missing 1! It was funny. We missed Emmaline but it was a nice break for all and I know Emmaline had a blast in CS with MawMaw and Pop! Thanks for letting her stay!

Roll Tide Aggies!!

Tonight's the National Championship game in Miami. My whole family is there, except us, which is a good thing, but I can't say I wouldn't love to be there celebrating.
It has been a long day here. E's 1st day back at school in over 2 weeks and we are still recovering from a trip to SA and a little party while watching the Aggies beat the hell outta OU! That was a fun game to watch and I was so happy to see Johnny Football doing his thing so well!
Since Alabama is up 35-0 right now, I am going to do a quick update:
*1st off, can't remember if I wrote this already but I ended up winning our annual ESPN College Pick 'Em group, Roll Tide Aggies. I was so excited and surprised since I didn't win an individual week ever. Also, Daniel won 3 weeks, so we won some money this year! *We are still in the kitchen remodeling process..getting closer but still no real functioning kitchen. I'm getting a bit nervous the countertops won't be in and the appliances functioning by the time baby comes..time will tell!
*I am 34 weeks pregnant. Feeling pretty good actually, little to no heartburn, the usual Braxton Hicks and crazy movements. By the end of the day I feel heavy but otherwise I'm good. My belly button does stick out sometimes which has never happened in any previous pregnancy so that is interesting. I also feel like (look like) I just dropped a bit. Not really sure, but maybe the dr. will tell me what she thinks. I go next week!
*Daniel is doing well, working hard then coming home and working in the kitchen or elsewhere. I hope he gets some down time before baby comes..I know he will need it!
*Emmaline is loving school still. We are still in process of getting her eyes checked and figuring out how to best help her, but she doesn't seem to notice so that is good. She will start up soccer again soon and still loves dance too.

Sid & Vicki in Miami..no doubt celebrating with Michael, Rachel, Jeff & Natalie!
*Georgia loves her school and her friends. She talks about them all the time. She loves singing and talks about the baby the most. Georgia has started changing Hayes' diapers, but only when he's wet. Apparently she is really fast and beats all the boys at school. Their moms tell me it's a big deal at their house and prayers are even said that they will be faster than Georgia!
*Hayes is all boy. He destroys, throws, runs all over the place and does it all with a smile! Good thing he is a sweet boy and still gives me kisses! Then he'll say, 'cheek' so I will kiss him on the cheek! He is doing well at pedaling his trike and still loves tools! He has started talking non-stop and says the funniest things. A few weeks ago he had an ear infection and weighed 31 pounds and was 36.5 inches tall. He is getting closer to Georgia and they still get mistaken for twins often!
Roll Tide & Gig 'Em!! Now I'm gonna go cry cause football is over..
Here are my parents in Miami partying before the game. My mom's birthday is the 10th..Happy Birthday Mom!!
