Valentine love!

Georgia and Hayes had a Valentine Dance and picnic at their school so we loaded up our picnic basket. It was actually lots of fun and the kids had a great time. They danced and danced. Georgia found her friends and they held hands and twirled around and snuck cookies and candy hearts and had a blast. Hayes was considerably more reserved. There was no dancing for him. He even opted out of the limbo contest, which Georgia was the most excited about. Hayes just kept eating and eating. Maybe it is his nervous habit? Georgia's class had 3 Bible verses memorized and they recited those for us. She was really proud of herself and excited to let me listen to her.
For Valentine's Day, we had the table decorated and made muffins, bacon and eggs and a shake. The kids got little gifts and love notes from us. Daniel also brought home balloons for them.
We took Emmaline lunch and a personal heart cookie cake, which made her the envy of the cafeteria. Between showing off Sidney, getting lunch from Subway (with a Frozen sack) and her cake, she was so happy! It was fun to take her and her teacher lunch!
We went to the park the morning of Valentine's Day with friends and Sidney enjoyed the slide and seeing her friends. Georgia loves helping her do everything..sometimes it's more help than she wants or needs! We got Aunt Jennie's Sunshine box in the mail on Valentine's Day so that was fun for the kids to open up. We also received Valentines from all grandparents, Aunt Nannine and Aunt Lynn and Uncle Carlo. The kids had so much fun opening the various packages throughout the week. They definitely felt the love!Sidney also had her first ponytail in on Valentine's Day! Tiny but cute! The kids love their Mardi Gras shirts and beads Aunt Jennie sent. They have had more fun with those beads! I think we need to take a trip to New Orleans soon!
