Vegas, Baby!!

Daniel and I were so lucky to get to spend a long weekend in Vegas with my brothers and sisters in law, the Brooks and the Krolls. We celebrated Rachel's birthday while we were there with a yummy dinner and then drinks at the Chandelier bar in the Cosmo hotel then back for more gambling.The next day we had reservations at Tao Beach at the Venetian. It was so fun and probably my most fun time I had in Vegas all weekend. It was a big party and the perfect weather for our day in the sun by the pool, even Jason Derulo and his crew were there! Sunday we woke up and went to a great brunch then did some shopping for the kids then to LaGasse Sports Book at the Palazzo to watch the Masters. It was a great day and the atmosphere was really fun!Sunday evening we went to dinner at Yellowtail in Bellagio where we were staying. It was really good, what I ate since I don't eat sushi. We also passed a bowl of miso soup around. Very classy! Our bill was outrageous. We ended our final night in Vegas at our hotel at the tables. We did some War (I won), some Blackjack (I lost, Daniel won) and met some crazy people. Never forget the guy that reminded everyone of Vanderslute. All in all it was an amazing trip and I am so thankful to my parents who flew in and kept care of our crazy kids! Can't wait to do it next year!!

Springtime Parties...

MOPS Easter Party

We hosted a MOPS Easter party at our house last Saturday. It was so much fun and a great turn out! We planned to be outside the whole time, so when it started to rain a little right after the party had started my heart sank some. Luckily, it only drizzled for a while and no one seemed to care. We wiped the chairs and tables off and continued on with our crafts and other activities. We finally were able to use our pony party package! We rented 2 ponies and the kids loved it. Sidney rode her 1st pony, but only with her biggest sister. She was a little scared once it started moving! Hayes still opted to not ride.
The kids also loved getting into the pen that Daniel made with the bunnies. Marshmallow and Graycie were so loved on and the kids were adorable with them! We borrowed a bounce house from a friend and the kids enjoyed the trampoline too. They played in the new playhouse that is still very much a work in progress..I need to decide what we want to do inside it!
It was potluck and we ordered Chick-Fil-A nuggets. The kids decorated sugar cookies with massive amounts of colored icing and sprinkles! Near the end we had an egg hunt where we split up the older kids and younger kids. Then we had the dads take confetti eggs or "cascarones" and break them on the kids' heads..they did share some too! It was a really fun party and fun fellowship with the families. I am so thankful to have such a fun group of Moms to share this walk in life with!

Hayesman gets a haircut!!

Well, now he looks like a big boy! It makes me sad kindof but he looks so handsome and grown up! And he must really look handsome because his sisters even told him so when they saw him for the first time with this new haircut!
I love this boy! He is so full of sweetness and wildness. He is all boy and fearless..he actually tells me on a regular basis he isn't afraid of anything. Hayes is sweet to his sisters and gives them a run for his money. He still gives the best kisses to his Mommy!!
