Snow in Mississippi

Of course, as soon as Emma and I head for Texas, there is snow, 4 inches of it, at home!! But luckily, Daniel and the dogs were there to enjoy it! Here are some pics.. it is so beautiful and he said the dogs loved it!! It has been so rainy and miserable here.. today it's sunny, so we are hoping to go to the park and swing and play!
Emma and I have been having a blast seeing everyone, lots of kiddos.. and there are pics to come but I don't have them downloaded yet! Will send soon!

We are heading back home Wednesday.. we miss Daniel and the dogs too much!!

Visit in Texas

We have been in Texas for a few days now and have done a lot!! And while we have been here, it has decided to snow at our home in MS.. so Daniel and the dogs are getting to enjoy that! Supposedly, there are pictures to come, so we will hold our breath and see!

We started out our visit in Kingwood with Grandma and Grandpa Gee, where we took Emma for some pictures to match Daniel's at the same age - 10 months!

Carrie came in town so we hung out at Ginny's house and discussed her wedding and bachelorette party, sounds like fun! Last night we went to see 27 dresses.. It was so good!! Really cute storyline and really cute cast members! I don't know how much a guy would like it, depending on the guy, but I would rather go with girls!! This week hopefully will be really fun while we get to see 2 brand new babies!!
We also attended a shower for Hayley and her little girl, Sammie, coming in February!!

In other news.. Emma and I are heading back to Texas this Wednesday.. we will be making our first stop in Kingwood to stay with Grandma & Pa Gee, then to have dinner with Emma's godparents, Lynn and Carlo, and Juliette and hopefully Gene!! We will be in CS on Friday night... so hope to make all the stops to see everyone!! Call me or email if you want to get together!!

Also, today Emma is 10 months old.. unfortunately it is really bad weather here, so we are stuck inside again..

Today is the 2nd day this week we have been under tornado warnings for a good part of the day.. we have already "hunkered down" in the safest place in our house, which I don't really think is very safe.. but have been lucky and haven't seen any damage or anything yet!

We did get to go to Meridian yesterday and play with friends, Kristen, Hannah and Chloe! We met at the new Chick-fil-a and ate and played there, then on to the mall to play some more and shop.. It took Emma a while to feel comfortable to move around, but she did finally get a little brave.. That just proves she needs to be out more and around other children!! One of my missions or goals this year!!

We are expecting a visit from my dad and brother tomorrow through next week, so we are excited and ready to close out deer season with hopefully at least 4 deer... one for each of us.. I haven't went hunting yet, but plan on it in Daniel's new double stand he got (for our anniversary)!!
