Soul Sisters

These girls are so cute together. Biased just a bit, yes! Now don't get me wrong, they still have their moments of pushing, squealing, pulling hair, tattling & bossing. But I do love their hugs they share, when they ask for eachother so they can play, or when they are loving on their baby dolls and pushing them around the house in heels.
Despite Emma's tackling issues (where she will clothesline Georgia out of the clear blue) she has become quite protective of her sister. It is really cute and I actually love seeing it happen. We could be at a park or a restaurant and if someone gets near her "baby Georgia" she will get between them and kindof block them out and say, "That's my baby sister Georgia!" while holding her arm out towards them.

Recently, there was a little boy, about G's age, who was wanting her drink and kept circling her and reaching for it. G was doing pretty well at keeping him at bay while saying "Mine", but once E saw what was going on she ran over squealing, "No, that's my baby Georgia" while shaking a finger at him. It was really sweet. Couldn't we all use a protector like that now and then?!! eating spaghetti..both their favorite!
I also love that G will hold your hand now while crossing the street (most of the time). It melts my heart seeing my girls hold hands and Emma making sure and telling her "Mommy gonna give you a spanking if you don't hold hands in the street. You want a spanking??" Then G will shake her head and say real seriously, "No..No" It makes me smile!caught them playing sweet! ;)
We have graduated G out of the highchair at the table, now she either sits with us or will sit in the booster. I store it under the table and found them one day taking turns dragging eachother around the floor on the booster seat.
They were having a blast and laughing so loud, but I just didn't see it ending that way.

They spent at least 45 minutes in our plastic pool going up and down the slide the other day. They were going so fast it was causing a whirlpool and only stopped once I forced them out of the pool. I forsee lots of days spent out there burning off energy!
These are my 2 girls, probably the only 2 I will have..but I will always love seeing them grow up together, learning from eachother and even fighting with eachother over shoes, purses & makeup. Cause at the end of the day they ask for the other when they aren't around, they want to sleep together and they give sweet good night kisses after prayers to eachother.

Party girls

We have been to a few parties here and there lately. They have all been at fun kid-friendly places where the girls can go wild and we don't really have to do anything! LOVE IT.
Now, I do like the idea, intimacy, specialness (not really a word) of having birthday parties at your own home but it sure is enticing to let someone else do all the work and then you get to load up and head to your quiet home while someone else cleans up!!
I am seriously considering this for G's 2nd birthday..I will be due any minute if not just had her little brother and think that the last thing I will want to deal with will be all the party planning details!
Anyways, here are few pics of our parties we attended around town!Me & E wheeling around

Cousins & Chocolate

Updated: I ended up catching a stomach bug from Georgia and am feeling 'normal' again, so thankful that my heartburn symptoms were a sickness and not for the rest of my pregnancy..at least for now!!

We have been in CS for the past week. It was a spur of the moment trip but has turned out to be great despite all the torrential rain we have received. That has put a damper on our swimming plans but we have managed to still find plenty to do.
I am so worn out.
I have to say I finally am feeling this pregnancy...kindof in the way that when people find out I am pregnant with my 3rd and it's summer and oh so hot and wow they will be close together and...I feel huge by the end of the day, uncomfortably large and like I could bust. Last week I could eat anything and everything..and I did! No problems, no side effects just a content tummy and baby bouncing around..well, this week has been so different. Heartburn is taking a toll like never (never!) before and I am miserable! I guess I am going to have to put the fork down and get off my growing rear to walk a bit. Boo! I have to note here..I have only gained 2 pounds so far this pregnancy, and I guess really only 1 since I lost 1 pound at the beginning, but I don't feel or look like it. I have been watching what I eat on some occasions but do splurge or eat what I want when I want..Now, I took my glucose test last week and failed! Have to go back for my 3 hr test next week..maybe that is why I am feeling so awful, but can't imagine that really being it?!?
So, I am expecting to have gestational diabetes again and I guess I will deal and look for the positives of it, but I did have some chocolate brownie dessert tonight as my last hurrah! Shhh, don't tell Daniel! He likes to get on to me for it..but hey, a girl has to have chocolate knowing she will be deprived for the next 3 months. Imagine me taking away something he LOVES..dare I say beer or caffeine..just for a little while. He may not be so thrilled with the thought then!

Ok, on to the real post..maybe I should change the title..there, better..I added chocolate!

Here are some cute pics of E, G & their cousin (on my side) Brett Tyler. Emma was so excited he was here..she is usually shy around him, but this time I guess she was ready to play..they have been running and squealing and crazy around the house. We dropped him off tonight and she almost cried.."Where is my Brett Tyler? I want my Brett Tyler to come back!" So sweet. He played great with her and she was hugging him and so happy! you can't make her do this pose, it's au natural!

Yes, you did just see Snow White, Princess Jasmine & Ariel, the Little Mermaid..they came to visit too!G in her stroller. She loves for Sissy to push her!
