t'was the night before Christmas...

and all through the house. Not a creature was stirring, oh wait, there's a mouse!!
Yes, we have mice.. some dead, some alive. Emma stepped on a sticky trap and couldn't get it off her foot...gross!!!
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care. (Daniel had Christmas set up for us when we returned home, stockings, the tree, lights, the whole thing..even poinsettias and random ornaments hung in each and every room of the house! Aren't those poisonous plants?!?

We hope your Christmas is wonderful, fun, and blessed this year! We are enjoying our last Christmas as residents of MS, at least for now!! I can't wait to see Emma's face tomorrow morning when she opens her stroller and real moving and cooing baby doll!!

graduate

We have experienced a lot of this lately..
For starters:
Daniel got a new job and we are MOVING!!! We are heading back to Texas, San Antonio to be exact. Daniel is really excited about the job change and we are excited about looking for a house, finding new friends, and seeing old ones (my best friend, Carrie, lives there!!), and all the opportunity that comes along with moving to a new place! So that is a form of graduating.. from the country to the city!

Next, my little brother, Jeffrey, graduated from SMU last weekend. I got to go with my parents while the girls and Daniel stayed at his moms. It was a lot of fun and we ate and drank some wonderful things..Cuba Libre is an amazing restaurant!! He is now interviewing for med school and will hopefully find one for the fall.

Also, Daniel's brother, Stephen, graduated from A&M. We got to hang out with them and meet Nannine (Emmaline's namesake) for the 1st time. She brought the girls adorable snowsuits and fur (see post below).!

Emma will be graduating from a crib to a big girl bed when we move because she is now climbing out!! We will have to see how that goes..she is quite mischievous and "naughty" according to my mom

Georgia is such a big girl, so I am going to try some baby food next week (I'm filling her stocking with bananas and carrots)!

And finally, I am graduating from a Tahoe to a Suburban!! Yes, that's right..I guess I am really going to be a "soccer mom"..a dream come true..we need the extra room that is for sure!!!!!!!!

"Can Siney come to scool wif me? I wub her and want her to go wif me!" - Hayes shows his love her Sidney on certain occasions only!
"See, we bof wub eachodder, wite?! " he says this all the time and it melts my heart, 2.5yrs. and he always wants a kiss after!
"I wub you so much. I need a hug and kiss wite now!" - such a sweet boy!
I want gold piss for nack! 'gold fish for snack'
I brought you a power!! (flower) - picks me 'powers' all the time!
"Mommy, do you love it??" or " Aww, I love it!" - Hayes' new favorite phrase!
"Maybe or Maybe not!" - how he responds to things in a silly way.
"Emmy" - what he calls his sister!
"Goopy" - for his stuffed toy Goofy
"Dear God" - how he starts all his prayers. 27 months
please, die (fly), go, no, boot, book, truck, dog, Didi (Dixie), mo (more) - 18 months
Mama, Dada, Georgia, Emma,

Georgia's talking now!!

"Yesternight" - used for yesterday or last night
"Blow the window down" instead of roll the window down, now all the kids say it!
Sunscream! - instead of sunscreen
"I'm going out of here!" - when she is upset and wants to leave
G still says, "Sank you for..." and "A-Man" when saying prayers. She also loves to lead the prayers/blessings. - 4 years
after asking me to do her hair and I said yes, "I want a French toast. The one after 78214, that French toast!" she wanted braids..!
this girl has been extra sweet lately..."I love you so much Mommy (kisses and snuggles)" and she talks about how much she loves others throughout the day! AWWW
"Last day I ..." used in place for yesterday, or any previous day
looking at the scabs on my knees and legs, "Is that from the shark that bit you in the ocean? Did you go way far out?"
After drinking her cup of ranch dressing like it was a shot, "It's delicious!! I need something to drink.." - so gross
"I'm not lovin' it" - after I gave her some of an Icee she didn't like
"I want too much ____ (cereal, milk, etc.)" - and if I only give her a little, she says, "It's not too much, gimme more!"
"I am going to eat you up! {munching sound}" - G loves to pretend to eat people and random stuff..her teachers say she says she is going to eat them!
3 years old - "I am going to sneak on ____(you, those Fritos)!" - when she is being sneaky.
"It's my Hayes-ma'am!" - instead of Hayes-man -what she calls her brother now - 2.7 years old
G loves boo-boos..she brings me her 1st scab that fell off, "Look Mommy!"- I tell her to throw it away, she says cupping it carefully, "No, I'm going to take care of my boo-boo!" - 6/8/11
"Mom, Do NOT talk to ME!" - after waking from a nap in a bad mood - this happens a lot - 2.5 years old
"You not eat my candy!...You not wear my socks!" - first words after opening her stocking.
"Hayes-man is done eating." - when she wants me to hold her and put him down.
"Mommy, hold you!" - when she wants me to hold her. - 2 years old
"Baby broken, daddy fix baby!" - when her baby's head fell off..he fixed it!
"Shhh! Baby brodder sleepin'!" - seriously with her finger in front of her face and pointing at my belly.
"NO, my ____!" - said about anything and everything.
"applesauce" & "applejuice" - her 2 favorite things right now - 21 mo.
"Makeup Peas" - obsessed with chapstick..then she smacks her lips, 'MOUP!'
G had been crying for a while after put to bed, so I went in & asked "What do you need?" - "Nandee" (candy)!
"NES!" - Yes! - she gets so excited and says this extra sweetly!
"mo dink pease" - more drink please!
"Momma say dis.." flicking her lips to make funny sounds and wanting me to mimick her
She is talking in sentences & constantly though I can't understand it all. 4/21/10
"Mys" - as in "my" but plural!
"I do it! Do it, do it!" - wanting to buckle her own seatbelt
"Sissy got poo-poo!" checking Emma's pants..there was none there..only in her own diaper!
"milk, cookie" - G is finally on whole milk!!!
"There's my baby!" - pointing at doll, 12/21/09
"dog, Dixie, Gauge" - she is finally infatuated with them at 14mo.
"No" - while pointing..at me..
"mo" - more food/drink etc.
"milk, B, dog, Emma"
"Dada" - in the sweetest voice ever
"Mama" - in the sweetest voice ever

listi-isms - what Emma is saying these days...

"I want to go to Slitherbahn"
"I want to be a doctor now not a mommy!" I asked why.."I want to know how to drive places." how am I supposed to take that??!
"I have the sneezes, the cough & the runny nose!" -feeling a little sick
"It's ok. I have a bird book; I am a bird expert." - after finding the baby bird. - 4.3 years old
"My hiney is growing bigger! Hayes, one day your hiney will grow big too!" - when putting on undies that were a little tight. - 4 years old
looking at a shiny flask on the counter. - "When I get to be a Mommy, I want one of those!"
I want a Sleeping Booty Party. I don't need Gabloons (ballons) inside or outside, I just want a Sleeping Booty party." After I told her she should have a chef party & asked if she wants balloons.
"I don't want to be a princess anymore!' - 3.5 years old
"Georgie, you won't get married if you have poo-poo!" - said very serious when I was trying to change G's diaper and she wouldn't let me! Probably true, though!
"Maybe next time!" - her usual response when she can't have something
"Aww, ma'am!" - says instead of aww, man.
" I wish I was the Mommy and you were the big girl!" - said after I told her she couldn't do something.
"I mad now!" pouting with her arms crossed..this is when she doesn't get the answer she wants!
"My name is Emma-een" (Emmaline but she can't pronounce the L! She is preferring to be called her full name now - 3.3 yrs
"Hey, Mam. Come here, come see my room where my Georgie will sleep with me!" showing a friend of Daniel's (a man, not ma'am) so excited to share a room with her sister!
"Where is the picture of my baby girl in my belly?" - looking at Carrie's u/s
Mom: "How does my shirt look?" Emma: "It looks 'toot'" (cute)!
"I'm sorry Gauge, you can't have any cupcake. It's for me not for you! Don't be sad."
"Blow out the wind" - after singing happy birthday!
"I love my swingset!!" - each time she is on the new swingset

Daniel-"this is trash, will you throw it away, please". Emma - placing said trash under our rocker and walking away!
me opening any box or item that appears to be new - "I got that for you, Merry Christmas, Momma!" - with a big kiss!
"Momma, why you not have any wonder wear on?" - lifting up my dress (I was still working on the final touches)
"My Ainsley. I love my Ainsley." - when asked who was spending the night (her 1st sleepover)
" Ally, Maggie, I rode my bike all by myself." - telling my parents' dogs how she rode her tricycle.
"I sorry Mama, I not mean to be mean to Georgia."
"Guess what?" her pointer finger on her cheek, "I know!!" - throwing her finger up in the air...but she didn't really know anything after all!
"Momma, you not wearing makeup. Put some makeup on!" - umm, thanks!
"Dis not match. I don't want to wear dis!" - she is VERY picky
yelling, "I don't NOT want to nap!!"
"Don't be sad, Georgia. It's alright. Don't cry."
"Georgia is a bad 'dirl'. She not play in the potty" - bad 'girl'
"Oh no, Georgia's a mess. I want to be a mess too!" - pudding painting
"Don't worry, Mom. I got more tookies right here." - cookies in a cup
"I want to wear that!" - pulling on my wedding ring - "Put it right here." - pointing to her finger
"Is that Dada?"- pointing at a man dressed in a suit walking by us in Target
"I want to take Georgia to a beach." - after seeing the picture of our family at the beach last year
us - "I love you." Emma - "I love me!"
"Where did the moon go, Pop?" - asking my dad about their favorite thing, the moon.
"I'm going to need more..." - drink, snack, candy..whatever.
"I am going to go potty right here." - squatting outside the door of Joe's, in her diaper of course
"I got my paw too!" - pointing to her foot, while watching a video of puppies playing
"I want to go get my shot right now!" - after seeing Georgia sporting her pink camo bandaids
