Georgia is 4 today!
My Georgie girl is 4 today and I have a hard time seeing and believing it! She seems like my little toddler still. She is petite and still has some chub on her. She has this sweet, squeaky voice and is talking nonstop these days. Where has 4 years gone??
*G is in the 50th% for both height & weight. She is just under 35 lbs and 40" tall! She had to get 4 shots today and was not happy. She cried but stopped quickly and said she had to be brave for Hayes!
*Georgia is more of a tomboy than Emmaline. She likes to be messy and isn't as into girly things. She does love to 'Mommy' others and her baby dolls. She got two matching outfits for her and her doll, one from Emmaline and one from Grandma. She loves them!
*Georgia is rough and loves to be wild and jump and bounce and run. She can definitely hold her own against her big sister.
*She says cute things like "sunscream", "sank-you", "handtizer", "I have a milk-stache". She loves to lead the blessing and does it a little different each time.
*Georgia wears size 3T and size 9 shoe. She can fit into some size 24 month clothes too and loves to squeeze into Hayes' pajamas. She likes to dress herself and still wears crazy combination outfits. She still has a hard time telling her right and left shoes. She wants to wear leggings and pants under all dresses and layering is her thing. She also likes jackets because she gets cold easily.
*She loves Chex cereal like Daddy, eats fruits wonderfully, and is my meateater too. Her taste for veggies comes and goes. She also loves milk and water!
*Georgia is a snuggler and loves to pile in our bed to watch a show or read a book.
*She has taken over the role of big sister while E is at school and loves to tend to Hayes. She brushes his hair and teeth, puts on his shoes and socks, buckles his carseat, and tries to change his diaper and clothes (but he usually won't allow the last one). She is very sweet to him and kisses and hugs him when he hurts himself or is sad. She also brings him his blankies and paci when he's upset too.
*G loves school and always gets good remarks from her teachers. I guess she saves it all for home..She is a passionate little thing and can go from happy and smiling to extremely upset and tantrum throwing in seconds. I would say the typical girl!!
*She is transitioning between 1 and no naps right now so that is tricky and when she falls asleep during the day she wants to sleep for a while..she is like me and grumpy when she is woken up.
*Georgia loves to help do chores, feed the dogs, make her bed, set the table, etc. She is particular about her room and bed and gets upset when it isn't just so..a little OCD at times.
*G loves the pool and has gotten much more brave in the water. She will be fully swimming on her own in a few more months. She also loves the beach and building sand castles in her favorite thing to do there.
Georgia, we are so proud of you and can't believe we have already got to spend 4 years watching your grow. People love being around your fun loving and adventurous spirit. Thank you for being such a sweet girl and giving kisses away freely. You are my little light!!

Hayes Bryant is 2 years old!
Well, here we are..2 years from the day I had my little man! What a sweet memory and fun day to celebrate!
Hayes is at school today. We took cookies and juice for his class to share. He made a crown and got a matchbox car from his teacher. Anytime someone would say, "Happy Birthday Hayes!" he would get upset and say "NO!" So when Hayes isn't at school what is he up to?
*He is talking like crazy saying cute things like, "I do it," "Who's that, Momma?" "I see, please" "Kiss it!" "Thank you," etc. He basically will copy anything you say to him.
*Hayes always wants and insists we say the blessing. He would prefer we do it multiple times a meal and likes to clap at the end. I love how he folds his sweet little hands and has nice manners during blessings and prayers at night.
*Hayes is wearing size 5 diaper, size 8 shoe, and 18-2T clothes. He loves to put his socks and shoes on, but isn't very good at getting them on right. He is so proud of himself when he tries though!
*He still loves his paci and blankies and is doing well without it at school and lots during the day. I need to get tougher on him..I'm a softy, I know.
*We are considering changing his crib to a toddler bed. We would lock him in the room, though (or at least that's my plan). We kindof don't want to set up the crib in the new house for just a few months if we don't have to. And we got a super cute toddler bed from Leslie that matches his room theme already, so why not?!!
*HB likes to play with balls and loves to throw them around the house. He isn't really into any other particular toys other than markers and crayons..he loves to draw all over the place! He loves to be outside, play in water and eat ice!
*Hayes has a sweetness to him and loves to hug, kiss and even sit in time out with his sisters! He apologizes and gives a hug to make it better. He also kisses on the lips!
*He is kindof a typical boy being that he is rough and tumble, likes to climb, throw things and crash into things. He gets rough in the shower with the girls and hogs the water..if they try to use it he pushes them out of the way.
*Hayes is in the 75th% for height at 36" tall and 50th% for weight at almost 30lbs. He cried when he got his shots but was over it pretty quickly.
*HB is a picky eater. He will only eat hotdogs, sausage and some chicken nuggets. Sometimes I can get him to eat ground beef mixed with other stuff. He does like fruit and cereals, but doesn't even really like PB&J. He is a skinny thing because of it! Oh and he loves candy or sweets..the mention of them and he squeals! Snacks are a bit hit around here too!
*Hayes loves to pose for the camera (when he's in the mood) and then he wants to see his picture immediately!
Hayes, we love you so much and enjoy each day with you and your big smile. You are such a good brother and love playing with your sisters. You are a cuddle bug and hearing you say 'Amen' is sweet. I'm proud of you and how you change each day! I love that you still want me to 'hold you' and you give the best kisses! What a fun week we had celebrating your special day!

16 weeks and counting
Here I am on my 4th pregnancy and am 4 months into it. I will be going to the dr. next week but we won't be finding out the sex of the baby. YIKES! I am so torn about this. I know in the end the surprise will be worth it, but right now...I want to sneak a peek between those legs!
My gut is telling me girl..most people tell me girl. Emmaline still swears it's a boy. Daniel's not talking. I would like to say something stupid like there is a chance it's a boy, but we all know that. I'm not convinced we are having a girl, but would be more surprised if they say 'it's a boy'! I more just want to discuss names...if Daniel would just give in..any suggestions??
I always saw myself with 2 girls and 2 boys. But how often do we get exactly what we want. Maybe that's the reason my gut is saying girl.
Here are a few other reasons why I'm saying girl: I feel more like I did when I was pregnant with Emmaline - tired (though that has gotten better), I feel bigger like the weight is more spread out over my whole body (yes, that is as nice as it sounds), one day I felt like I wasn't really pregnant then BAM there's that belly! It was like overnight it popped out (same thing happened with E). I gained the most weight with E, so I am definitely hoping to not repeat that. To keep that under control when I go at 17 weeks to the dr. she is doing an early gestational diabetes test..BOO! I have been trying to do better and not eat as many carbs and sugar, but I haven't been working out as much as I should. But those test don't lie, maybe it will give me a month reprieve and won't detect anything just yet..There is hope. I didn't have gest. diabetes with E or HB.
Other things going on with this pregnancy: The most exciting and notable...I have felt the baby move!! Just little tiny ones but since I'm a pro, I know who that is and am not fooled by gas bubbles! That is definitely my most favorite part of pregnancy and the one I will cherish and miss the most! I also will miss my belly that turns into a shelf..I love having a built in drink and snack holder!
I still have to get up to go to the bathroom like 3 times a night. I can no longer do much on my stomach or have HB lay on me in his not so gentle way. I can wear regular clothes but maternity is much more comfortable.
I would say from what I can tell that I am carrying low and more on the right (where I feel the baby move). I am so excited about the baby getting strong enough to kick where the kids can see my belly move!
So far so good from this end. Just hoping all is healthy with me and baby at our upcoming appointments and that it gets a bit cooler!
(here is another pic where you can see better..Hayes had to be in it!)
We have company coming in for the Birthday and Hunting weekend! I tried to do a belly pic and it was ridiculous..you couldn't really tell anything so I will try again maybe when I'm wearing a dress I can pull tight and do it in the evening..my belly seems to double in size from the morning to after dinner! The girls say, "Mom, the baby is eating all your food! You should eat more!"
OH and we finally closed on the house. Just a small step in reality to what we need to do to get in the house. I told Daniel we should audition to be on one of those renovation shows.
It's birthday week...see you on the other side!

1st day of MDO for HB & G!!
Today was the day I dropped off my babies for 3 hours at school. It was Hayes' 1st time going to Mother's Day Out, but luckily Georgia is an old pro. She marched right in placing all her items where they belonged and took a seat next to her friends and started making playdough!
So one kiddo down, no tears, and one to go. Hayes was so proud toting around his lunch box. His sweet teacher was showing him where to put his backpack and he was answering her and was so cute! What a big boy..and all of a sudden it seems! She asked if he wanted to put his lunchbox in the bin and he said "NO!" clutching it tightly, so we moved on to his room. He was fine at this point, no tears all smiles. We chatted a bit and then I said, well, I'm gonna go...so Hayes waves and says, "Bye" to his teacher...ummmm confusion...No sweet boy, you're staying! Then the tears. I felt bad for my baby, but I knew he would have so much fun! And Georgia said she would protect him! The teacher distracted him with playdough and he stopped crying before I left.
I love that they are going to the same school. And that they will see eachother on the playground and in the hall. It's a nice, small school and it's where we go to MOPS so it is familiar to them. I love their teachers and know it is a great starting point for them both. Hayes has 5 kids in his class and Georgia has 8.
This is really the biggest deal for us regarding Hayes in school: Mrs. Tarin, HB's teacher, also was on board for no pacifier!!!!! YEA!!! So we don't even send one..just another step closer to no pac! My goal is by Christmas to have it gone..maybe before..
Hayes' teacher said he had a wonderful week of school, was so sweet and happy all day! Hayes goes 2 days a week while Georgia goes 3. Hayes has also become independent real quick. He loves to 'do it myself' and 'I buckle' his carseat. He also wants to do his own shoes and socks. I'm thinking it's about time to move to a toddler bed..probably when we move to the new house. It is so fun watching Hayes become a big boy and learning all the new things he says and does!
Georgia has Mrs. Christine, a friend of mine from MOPS. She is seriously the most patient person I know and has that teacher quality - the one where she is always in teacher mode with her voice and what she says and does. It's amazing! Georgia has been a great big sister lately! She loves taking on the role of being the only big sister. She now can unbuckle her own carseat (most of the time) and then will unbuckle Hayes. She helps put his shoes and socks on and tried to change his diaper and clothes, but he usually resists that by screaming. She also loves to comb his hair and tries to brush his teeth (he doesn't allow the teeth brushing)! They have become closer and play well together. I love seeing that of course and am happy they have that time together to form their own relationship!
I am so happy they both had a great day at school! Georgia said Hayes was following her on the playground. While I was in the line to pickup I got to watch them play and he was infact following her around while she pedaled her trike. It's fun because they get to play with all the classes at the end of the day and we know a lot of the kids that attend Lambs of God.
Here's to a great 1st week at school for my littles!! I'm so proud of how well they transitioned to a new school!
