A little Halloween overload...

We had so much fun during October..we had lots of parties and events to attend and we were successful at having the most fun! I can't remember now in which order we did all this but to recap:Georgia dressed Sidney up in her 'cheetah' costume..she thought it was hilarious when she wore her nose and whiskers! We dressed up for a friend's Halloween party, at Stella and Liam's house. It was fun with lots of cute, Pinteresty foods, a bounce house, crafts and even mimosas for the adults!I worked at Hayes and Georgia's preschool's fundraiser, the Pumpkin Patch for 2 different 4 hour shifts. It wasn't so bad and we sold lots of pumpkins! I took the kids with me one day and they played on the corn tables, on the playground and rode the tractors. I even made them take a few pictures!Me and the kids made some crafty fabric pumpkins. We used old dresses, handkerchiefs and remnants and they turned out so cute. I really had fun with this and can't wait to make new ones next year. It was too easy and the kids helped and picked out their own design! The Country Club had a Halloween fest with spooky hayrides on the golf course, a cupcake walk, bounce house, carving contest, cart-or-treat, face painting and cookie decorating. That was lots of fun but tiring since Daniel was out of town. We spent one morning at the library for their special Halloween craft and storytime. The kids always like that and it's free! The kids dressed up and we went to our awesome Chick-fil-A for their Halloween Princess and Pirate party with face painting, balloon animals and free kid's meals when you dress up!Me and this sweet girl had to squeeze shopping in somewhere..! Oh and a few days before Halloween Emmaline had her Girl Scout costume party at Chuck E Cheese. It was a deal for our family at only $15 for all of us to eat, get tokens and cupcakes. Emmaline wanted to wear a fairy costume with heels. And she ended up winning 1st place for coolest costume (as voted on by her peers) and 3rd place overall. She got some cool Daisy/girl scout items and lots of candy as a prize. She was so excited!! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of her in her cute fairy costume. I was room mom for Emmaline's 1st grade class party. I made a Bingo game, and brought snacks. We also played a fun Trick or treat game where the kids pick a paper out of a bucket and they either won a treat or had to do a trick, like howl at the moon like a werewolf or pat your head and rub your stomach...they loved this and it was super easy! Our Halloween night started early at our church for Boo Fest...includes trunk or treating, free food, bounce houses, obstacle courses and slides, rides, face painting and more. The kids love going and seeing their friends and teachers all dressed up!Our next stop was at the Methodist church trunk or treat where we saw some friends who has cars decorated. The girls got to see more friends and Sidney, the Cabbage Patch Kid made an appearance and got lots of AAHHS! This is Avery, Georgia, Meredith and Emmaline..G will be in Kinder with those girls!! Our night ended at home..Hayes was so hot from wearing the giraffe that he stayed home with me and Sidney to hand out candy. He was so cute and into it. We were busy and got rid of lots of candy!! Daniel and the girls went around our mile street to trick or treat. It really was a great day but exhausting! And this is pretty much how we all were by 8pm Halloween night! The next day I had made an appointment, without thinking, for the kids to go to the dentist. They did ok, though HB wouldn't let them do x-rays.. NO Cavities!!! A miracle I tell you!
