Part II: SPI

Sunday was a fun day, where we ventured to the beach. Daniel, the girls and I went by ourselves soon after a huge breakfast at Manuels, where the breakfast burritos are HUGE and delicious. I wish I had one now!!

Anyway, Daniel put Georgia down and she crawled to the edge of the breaking waves and just sat there looking out at the ocean. It was so sweet to watch and fun to think of what she must be thinking about seeing the ocean, sand and waves. Now, this wasn't her 1st time at the ocean, but the 1st time at a beach in Texas..they differ greatly. G loved to stick her face in the sand and suck it up!

I have to say the beach was nice. The waves were gentle, the water warm and fairly clear and the sand was ok too. It was so flat and great for young children. I would recommend Padre to anyone..it was a great weekend!!

That afternoon the boys went hunting again and we napped & snacked and then got ready for the evening. We all headed to the Sea Ranch for a nice sunset dinner and drinks. The girls were wild and loved their aquarium, especially the blue crab! Everyone took turns holding them up to see them swim around. G loved her hair blowing in the a/c

That night we drank wine, then on to other drinks and dancing at the hotel bar. It was a long night, a long weekend, and a wonderful time with family to make memories.

We want to make this our annual family birthday/hunting vacation!! Anyone else want in?!!?
