Getting Wet!

It is getting to be that time of the year..where children, young and old, want to spend every waking minute in the water! It doesn't seem to matter if it's ice cold, warmer than a hot tub, spraying out of a hose, or salty waves in your eyes and mouth. My 4 children (yes, husband included) are no exception. They want to play in the water at all times.
Hayes' spot is in the faucets in the bathroom. He loves turning the water on full blast so that everything and everyone in the room is drenched..LOVE that..at least he can turn off the faucet now!
Emmaline just can't help herself. If she walks by the pool, a puddle, or any water she has to put her toes or fingers in..she really doesn't care how cold it is..then she would prefer to just jump right in! She is passionate about it!
Georgia is my wild card as usual! She is a little scared of the water (which I love) and is hesitant to get in. She doesn't like the cold and takes her a while to warm up to the idea. I am ready to get her in swim lessons to give her some confidence in the water!
We have swam almost everyday of every weekend the last 2 weeks. It is awesome because it tires the kids out so much!
We also have been running the sprinklers so it sprays on the trampoline and in the yard.
That is always a favorite!!!

Also, this week we took our 1st trip to the beach. We surprised the kids one afternoon, packing the car with all the necessities including swimsuits, and telling them we were going on an adventure.
It took them until we were crossing over the bridge into South Padre to figure out we were going to the beach, but they then worried about not having a swimsuit! It was fun!
They were squealing and clapping.
It was a sweet afternoon watching them dig in the sand, collect shells and brave the waves. Emmaline had her Mommy guard on for HB and wouldn't let him enter the water without holding his hand, whether he needed or wanted it or not!
We ended the day with dinner at the Brewery with pizza and sandwiches. They were asleep before we made it halfway home!
I forsee lots of sunny and H-O-T days getting wet...and we don't discriminate down here!!
